MISSION STATEMENT
The vision of Liberty Boulevard Elementary STEAM School will ensure that all staff, parents, and students will be happy high achievers.
The staff at Liberty Boulevard Elementary STEAM School is committed to working collaboratively with parents and students in promoting excellence in education through high quality, research-based instruction, coaching, and outreach, to equip students with a solid foundation to become reflective lifelong learners and successful leaders of the global community in the 21st century.
The mission of the staff at Liberty Boulevard Elementary STEAM is:
- To promote opportunities for all students to achieve their maximum potential in all aspects of life - academic, social, emotional, and physical for the purpose of educating the whole child
- To focus our institution and resources to equip students with skills and character that will serve as building blocks to become effective leaders
- To provide instruction and support to meet the needs of diverse learners in our school community
- To educate every student with respect - maximizing their strengths and talents, honoring their beliefs, and working collaboratively to overcome their challenges

English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)
The Practice Test gives students, parents and families, teachers, administrators, and others an opportunity to become familiar with the types of test questions on the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). It includes examples of all of the types of test questions that may appear in the actual Summative Assessment at each grade or grade span. In an actual test setting, an Examiner’s Manual, a Test Book, and/or an Answer Book are used. The test questions in the Practice Test are reproduced from these test materials.

GOAL #1: Proficient Writers and Readers
Liberty Blvd. uses Write from the Beginning...and Beyond, as the core writing program for instruction. Those that use the traits of effective writing will immediately see how these traits can be taught using the mini-lesson component of Write from the Beginning...and Beyond, as well as how they can also be assessed using the analytic improvement rubrics that are provided.
GOAL #3: EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE FOR ALL
Good attendance is the single most important factor in achieving school success. Too often students are absent for trivial reasons. Please encourage your son/daughter to be here daily and make every effort to schedule their appointments for after school hours. In addition, every effort should be made to plan family vacations so that they coincide with school holidays and/or off-track time. Superintendent Austin Beutner has established performance meter expectations for attendance.
